Group One options for Kameko

Andrew Balding hasnt ruled out stepping up to Group One level prior to the end of the season with Kameko.
The Kingsclere handler is contemplating fall him back to seven furlongs to the Criterium International at ParisLongchamp or whether to keep the son of Kittens Joy at a mile at the Verterm Futurity Trophy.
The Qatar juvenile completed second back before completing the place in Newmarket on his first start over a mile at the Royal Lodge after making a debut at Sandown.
Balding said:Hes two entrances, the Verterm Futurity Trophy and the seven-furlong Group One at ParisLongchamp. He will run in one of them when he runs again this season.
I am not sure Id want to be running over a mile on soft earth at Doncaster.
He has come out of his last encounter fantastic and I could not be happier with him.
It was somewhat annoying he got beat in the Royal Lodge, but I think weve got an extremely good horse on our hands and physically he is just likely to improve
