Group One options for Kameko

Andrew Balding has not ruled out stepping up with Kameko to Group One degree before the end of the season.
The Kingsclere handler is considering whether to maintain the son of Kittens Joy at Doncaster at a mile at the Verterm Futurity Trophy or drop him back to seven furlongs to the Criterium International in ParisLongchamp.
After building a debut at Sandown, the Qatar Racing-owned juvenile completed second back at that track at the Solario Stakes.
Balding said:Hes two entrances, the Verterm Futurity Trophy along with the seven-furlong Group One in ParisLongchamp. If he runs this season, Hell run in one of them.
Im not sure I would wish to be running over a mile on soft earth at Doncaster.
He has come out of his final encounter great and I could not be happier .
It was somewhat annoying he got beat at the Royal Lodge, but I believe we have a very good horse on our hands and physically he is only going to improve
