Group One options for Kameko

Andrew Balding hasnt ruled out stepping up prior to the end of the season with Kameko to Group One degree.
The Kingsclere handler is considering whether to keep the boy of Kittens Joy in a mile in the Verterm Futurity Trophy at Doncaster or drop him back to seven furlongs to the Criterium International.
After having a debut at Sandown, the Qatar Racing-owned juvenile finished second back at that track in the Solario Stakes.
Balding said:Hes two entrances, the Verterm Futurity Trophy along with also the seven-furlong Group One in ParisLongchamp. If he runs this year Hell run in among them.
I am not sure Id wish to be running over a mile on gentle ground at Doncaster.
Hes come from his very last run great and I couldnt be happier with him.
It was slightly frustrating that he got beat at the Royal Lodge, but I think we have a very decent horse on our palms and he is only likely to improve
